Let’s help the pollinators!

Honey bees and other pollinators are finding it more difficult to locate food sources in our ever-urbanizing world. That’s why it’s so important to create spaces where they can feed. Mrs. Leafcutter’s class explores this topic in this short, illustrated story. Her bee friend, Tina, explains the importance of pollination to the class and inspires them to build their own pollinator garden at the school. Everyone’s hard work pays off in the end as a flourishing garden full of many different pollinators is revealed.

I wrote and illustrated this short story in the spring of 2021 for one of my undergrad courses. It was super rewarding to get to combine environmental science with art and storytelling :)
